Present

 

Camila is a proud Latina actress, singer, dancer, producer and director born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Camila has performed the role of Edna Turnblad in Hairspray at the Nini Marshall Theater in Buenos Aires and has done several other musicals including Les Miserables, We Will Rock You, In The Heights, Footloose and Legally Blonde, all in her home country.

Most recently she made her TV debut on And Just Like That (continuation of Sex and The City) for HBO Max. She also performed at the Comeback Cabaret Show at Don't Tell Mama Cabaret, Super Arts Secret, Chasing Dreams, Ange Noir Cafe and Let's Broadway all in the big apple as well. 

Camila also produces and direct cabaret shows in the city to help other Latinx and international artists show themselves in this challenging industry. To give them the opportunity to shine and achieve their dreams of working as professional performers. 

Let's go some years ago.....

 

At the age of 19, Camila won a merit - audition scholarship to study the Musical Theater Conservatory Program at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where she graduated in 2021 with honors. Prior to her artistic career, she studied two years of the Communication and Marketing Degree at Universidad Austral, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

Throughout the years Camila has been taking jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical jazz, dancehall, jazz funk and hip hop lessons and has trained her voice with Pilar Muerza and Sofia Rangone among others. Camila has done Musical Theater workshops in NYC with Regina O’ Malley and Kathy Morath. Moreover she graduated from the Go Broadway Program in 2018 also in NYC.

Camila has performed the role of Charity in Sweet Charity, Maria in The Sound of Music, Rhonda in Woman of Manhattan, Rizzo in Grease, Sherrie in Rock of Ages, Beth in Blue Surge, Madge in Picnic and Martirio in The House of Bernarda Alba at AMDA. She also played Pauline in The Winter’s Tale, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Rosalind in As You Like It all Shakespeare plays.

To new adventures...

 

Since she was a little kid, Camila knew she wanted to be an artist. Her passion for the performing arts make her want to continue learning and growing in the different areas as well as acquiring new skills to become a multifaceted and knowledgeable artist. Camila believes that hard work, respect, empathy and kindness are the key to succeed in the industry. She is thrilled to work in challenging projects and expand new horizons!
